Jason Glover-Executive Director

Jason begins his sixth year as the Executive Director of the Nevada Basketball Academy after a highly successful 13-year college and high school coaching career. He most recently was Pat Foster’s top assistant at the University of Nevada from 1993-1999. Prior to coaching at the University of Nevada, he served as an assistant coach to Dave Rose at Dixie College, in St. George Utah, for 3 seasons, where Glover was instrumental in building Dixie into a national junior college power, helping guide the Rebels to two top-10 national rankings.

After graduating from Grand Canyon College with a degree in education, Coach Glover began his coaching career in Las Vegas as a high school coach at Rancho under coach Jim Allen. He also had the unique opportunity to learn first hand from two of the nations winningest coaches, former Nevada and Houston Head Coach Pat Foster, and ex-UNLV and Fresno State Coach Jerry Tarkanian.

Jason has built his prominent coaching reputation on his abilities as an on-court teacher with special emphasis on individual improvement. He has worked individually with players of all ages and levels, most notably NBA players Larry Johnson, Kendall Gill, Stacey Augmon, and former Wolfpack star and Harlem Globetrotter Eathan O’Bryant, Big West Player of the Year Faron Hand, and current Lady Wolfpack star Kate Smith just to name a few.

Eathan O’Bryant-Instructional Director

Eathan is the Director of Instruction with the Nevada Basketball Academy after an outstanding college and professional career which has taken him all over the world. O’Bryant once again teams up with Coach Glover who mentored him at both Dixie College and the University of Nevada. He is still considered one of the most popular Wolfpack players of all time.

As a college player, Eathan was a two-time All Big West performer and was 3rd in the country in assists his senior year. His professional career has taken him to Bratislava where he was voted the MVP of his league, and Austria. He has just recently retired from the Harlem Globetrotters where he served as an advanced ambassador, and also runs his own Hoop Dreams camps all across the country.

In the eleven years since Eathan O’Bryant played his last game for the University of Nevada, he has become en excellent teacher of the game. His experience as an ambassador of basketball through the Globetrotters and his own playing experience in Europe have allowed him to develop his own coaching style working with both boys and girls throughout the world.

As a point guard, O’Bryant has the ability to teach passing, ball handling and shooting with a level of expertise few can match. Coupled with an outstanding personality and patience, he is recognized as a top clinician and is in high demand.
